Hi my name is Barb. I live in Melbourne, Australia.
This is my eighteenth update of my homepage (20 December 2005).
I first set up a page (with lots of encouragement from my husband), to showcase my own handmade cards.
Since having my own homepage, I have met, through email and in person, so many extremely talented people, that I thought it only fair to share with everyone else their wonderful work.
Mike and I have been married for 29 years and have 2 children. Steven, 26 and Emily 25. Steven is employed in the IT Industry and Emily is working as an Administrative Officer for the Victorian Caravan Parks Association.
Earlier this year I resigned from my long time position as a night duty midwife, as the hospital I was working in was changing location and apart from the drive to and from work becoming too great I felt a need for a change and this seemed a good time to effect this. Being retired is great, when did I have time to work I sometimes wonder.
Mike does contract work in the IT industry.
We have a red-heeler/cross dog his name is Morgan, he is 15 years old and suffering with a lot of arthritis and earlier this year tore his cruciate ligament which required surgical repair. Dusted off the nursing skills (LOL) and he is walking again.
Stamping has been part of my life for the last 10 years or more and it has helped me meet some wonderful people and get lots of enjoyment.
